REMEMBER KYLA

Kyla was that one ray of sunshine gleaming from behind the clouds that shined just a little brighter than the rest. And Kyla was that shining star on a clear Spring night that twinkled just a little sharper than the others. Kyla was that cool crisp breeze on that hot summer day. Kyla was a breathe of fresh air.

If you knew Kyla, if you really knew Kyla, you were lucky. I had the pleasure of knowing Kyla for 27 years, 7 months, 1 week, and 2 days. I was really lucky.

Kyla touched our lives in one way or another. She was a mother, a daughter, a cousin, a niece, a auntie, a sister, a friend. Kyla was my best friend.

I talked with Kyla almost every day and within the first few seconds of our conversation I could tell if she was going to conquer the world that day or if she had planned to stay in her pajamas and let the world catch up a little... all in the way she simply said hello.

Kyla found her calling in life in her early 20's when she became a mother and what an incredible mother she was. Effortlessly loving, caring for and guiding her three beautiful children. Although her time as a mother was cut a bit short, the principles, values and love that she instilled will carry on through the lives of Whitney, Brody, and Lincoln.

This world lost somebody really special on June 4, 2014 but Kyla will shine thru as that ray of sunshine that shines brighter than the rest. She'll remain that star that twinkles sharper than the others in the night sky or the cool breeze on that hot summer day. Kyla will always be our breath of fresh air.

                                                                   --With love always,

                                                                            Your Brother
